Do you enjoy hands-on work and want to play a key role in the laboratory process? As a Sample Preparation Technician, you ensure that samples are properly prepared for analysis. You will work in a close-knit team within a dynamic environment where collaboration and a proactive attitude are key.
In this versatile role, you are responsible for preparing and processing samples that are essential for our laboratory analyses. You combine practical, physical work with accuracy and a strong focus on quality.
Your responsibilities include:
Preparing and processing incoming samples according to technical procedures
Managing sample storage and related administration
Performing physical tests such as TML tests, sieve tests, and bulk density tests
Carrying out first-line and internal quality controls and taking action when necessary
Operating machines used to prepare samples for analysis
Filling and preparing samples for the laboratory
Assisting with maintenance, calibration, and inspection of equipment
Performing quality and process controls
Working closely with colleagues in an enthusiastic and committed team
A salary between €2,560 and €2,750 gross per month (excluding shift allowances), depending on experience
8% holiday allowance

We are looking for a proactive and flexible colleague. You:
Are available 40 hours per week
Are flexible and willing to work in a 2-shift system in the future
Have a good command of Dutch and/or English (many colleagues and systems are English-speaking)
Have no problem performing physical work
Preferably have experience in a laboratory or production environment (not required)
Are eager to learn, reliable, and a true team player
You will be working in the minerals laboratory in Spijkenisse, where reliable analyses are carried out daily for the Natural Resources sector. The organization is characterized by an informal working atmosphere, clear procedures, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. New employees receive thorough onboarding and internal training.
